Objective Of Kirtan Singh jees Visit to Pune and Shreerampur.

Need :- From our field experience it has been observed that our Sikhligar Brothers and Sisters sometimes cant co-orelate with non Sikhligar workers and hence are not able to follow what worker wants to say and convey. This could be due to various reasons and one of them is the linguistic gap.

To Plug this gap we have been planning to use our Sikhligar brothers from one Dera to convey and convince Sikhligars of other Dera. In some cases I have seen it has been fairly succesfull. From 4th of April we have started this in more formal way. S Kirtan Singh jee who is father of S Harjeet Singh jee of Jalgaon visited Shreerampur and we have agreed that he will cover two deras every month i.e. Shreerampur and Pune for next six months.

Objective of the Visit :-

• To Create communication link between different deras.
• To propogate and promote Sikh Values
• To make people aware of anti gurmat customs like Moorti Pooja, Sour pooja, Balli and Child marriage.
• To create conducive atmosphere for Education and create awarenss about Education.
• To create awareness about Healthcare.
• Persude and explain need for bank accounts.
• Try to mobilise and create a team of workers from the dera who understand the principles and forge a personal relation ship with them.

Why S Kirtan Singh jee

• He is well aware of the Sikh principles and there is no anti Gurmat custom followed in there Dera.
• He is well versed with punjabi and does sewa in gurdwara Sahib.
• He has very good reputation among Sikhligars and local sikh sangat of North maharashtra.
• He knows value of Education. One of his sons has done Diploma in Engineering around five years back without any external support.
• Has good bussiness.

Why Pune and Shreerampur for Next Six Months.

• Pune and Shreerampur are big deras and we have been facing many problems off and on in these areas.
• There are various anti Gurmat and anti social customs which our Sikhligar people of these deras follow.

Expectations and Responsibilties of Akhar.

• Akhar will reimburse travel expenses. Funds will be transferd directly to jalgaon from Central pool.
• Local teams and Division head shall make all neccesary arrangement for Stay and food preferably in dera. So that he can spend maximum time in dera.
• He shall be introduced once with Dera dewlers and if he has to cover 2-3 deras as in Pune , some transport arrangement shall be made so that maximum tinme could be utilised.
• Our workers shall not be present during his conversation with Dera dwelers. He should be at ease and so shall be dera people. We want free flow of problems, ideas, issues and a sense of responsibility.

Results :- To get results we need to let this process continue for 4-5 months. We cant see re

sultd in first visit we must be patient and realistic.
